Medical Practitioners-Get Results and Access Imaging

StL Diagnostic Imaging is connected to several eHealth systems that have robust cloud-based platforms. This allows secure access for registered medical practitioners.

1. PocketHealth

Pocket Health provider to provider sharing allows StL Diagnostic Imaging images and reports to be accessed electronically by authorized persons, or by the patient themselves. An access page is generated which contains a unique security code for access to selected studies in full diagnostic imaging quality, including instructions on how to view, download and import the images through a secure web address (URL). There is no need to set up an account, download an application software or go through training.

The Access Page can be faxed directly to a healthcare practitioner’s office or provided directly to you to bring to your appointment. To request imaging records from StL, please phone 1-800-268-5804 or fax requests to 1-855-374-3497. Healthcard number and date of birth are required for identification purposes, so please have this information available.

Alternatively, you can access your own records directly by visiting: https://www.pockethealth.com/.

2. ONE ID

Authorized users with a One ID account can access StL Diagnostic Imaging reports and images at any time. One ID provides easy and secure access to digital health servers such as provincial viewers (Clinical Connect, Connecting Ontario Clinical Viewer and eHealth Portal) offered by eHealth Ontario.

Authorized users can gain access here: https://oneid.ehealthontario.ca/login

Connecting Ontario Clinical Viewer

Connecting Ontario Clinical Viewer Diagnostic Imaging portal displays diagnostic imaging (DI) reports and images through a provincial repository DI CS (Diagnostic Imaging Common Service). DI CS is a provincial DI repository containing reports and images submitted by hospitals and integrated community health service centres to Ontario Clinical Imaging Network-OCI Net. OCI Net was formed in April 2022 with the consolidation of three regional DI repositories (DI-rs), i.e. HDIRS (Hospital Diagnostic Imaging Repository Services), NEODIN (Northern and Eastern Ontario Diagnostic Imaging Network) and SWODIN (Southwestern Ontario Diagnostic Imaging Network). StL Diagnostic Imaging contributes to OCI Net through affiliation with SWODIN (South and Western region).

Clinical Connect

Operated by Hamilton Health Sciences and funded by Ontario Health (Digital Services), this secure, web-based portal provides authorized physicians and clinicians with real-time access to their patient’s electronic medial information from all acute care hospitals, Ontario Health atHome Community Care services and Regional Cancer Programs in South West Ontario. In addition, Clinical Connect integrates this data from various regional data repositories.

Authorized users with a ONE ID account can access ClinicalConnect here: https://swo.clinicalconnect.ca/

Users can check with their Local Registration Authority (LRA) regarding access to Clinical Connect.

StL Diagnostic Imaging contributes directly to the Ontario Clinical Imaging Network (OCINet), therefore our images and reports are readily availble within this provinicial repository.

3. Cloud Based PACS-iConnect Access

Merge iConnect Access System is a web-based portal to access StL Diagnostic Imaging images. With this system, physicians can go to the URL https://iconnectweb.octopuscloud.ca/webaccess/Default.ashx on their computer workstation (i.e. desktop, laptop, iPAD or tablet) without having to download any special applications to access images or related reports. The medical practitioner will be required to complete and sign a “Remote Access Agreement” and send it back to our StL Diagnostic Imaging PACS team for account activation.

Please contact our PACS Administrator Inderpal Dhillon for more information: idhillon@stlimaging.ca

4. Ontario MD

StL Diagnostic Imaging has partnered with Ontario-MD and are live with HRM (Health Record Manager). HRM is an eHealth solution that enables clinicians using an OntarioMD-cerified EMR to securely receive patient reports electronically from participating hospitals and specialty clinics. HRM electronically delivers reports directly into the patient’s record within the clinicican’s EMR, this includes DI reports.
