StL Diagnostic Imaging uses comprehensive digital health platforms to support continuity of care and best possible outcomes for those implementing our services as well for those receiving it. Software applications such as Radiant, PACS enabled RIS, MERGE PACS workstation, PACS retrieval, storage and archive provide secure and accurate reporting. Data is managed and protected in accordance with PHIPA.
How to Access Results and Imaging
ONE ID provides secure and easy access to provincial viewers such as Clinical Connect, Connecting Ontario Clinical Viewer and eHealth Portal, offered by eHealth Ontario. Registered authorized users with a ONE ID account can access StL Diagnostic imaging results, simply by signing in. This eHealth provincial repository contains images and reports submitted by hospitals and IHFs which can then be submitted to these regional Diagnostic Imaging Repositories for viewing.
StL Diagnostic Imaging is one of the contributing sites for Ontario Clinical Imaging Network (OCINet), and was the first group of its kind to join the Southwestern Ontario Diagnostic Imaging Network (SWODIN) in 2015. Since then, we have also made our reports available through Hospital Report Manager and OntarioMD.
This live Health Record Manager (HRM) enables clinicians using an OntarioMD-certified EMR to securely receive patient reports electronically from participating hospitals and specialty clinics. HRM electronically delivers into the patient’s record within the clinician’s EMR. This includes StL Diagnostic Imaging reports.
Merge iConnect Access System is a web-based portal whereby physicians can go to the URL https://iconnectweb.octopuscloud.ca/webaccess/Default.ashx on various workplace computer systems, i.e. desktops, laptops, etc. without the need to download any special apps to access StL images and related reports. The user will be required to complete and sign a “remote access agreement” with StL PACS administrator for activation.
This user-friendly global digital system allows personal access to images and reports 24/7 for patients and their health care custodians or Powers of Attorney for Health.
Have a specialist appointment coming up and need results?
StL Diagnositc Imaging can provide a unique security code, which contains instructions on how to view, download and import the images through a secure web address (URL)*. The access code can be directly faxed to a medical office or provided to patients in time for their appointment.
